Version 1.0 | Website policies · Last updated: 13 October 2026
This Cookie Policy relates to https://devsbyte.com, operated by DEVSBYTE LTD, company number 17321803, registered in England and Wales.
Registered office: 235 Wright Rd, Saltley, Birmingham B8 1PB, United Kingdom. Contact: hello@devsbyte.com; +44 (0) 7904 534315.
Read this policy alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains personal data purposes, lawful bases, recipients, international transfers and your rights.
Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. They may support a session, remember a setting or identify a browser.
Similar technologies include local or session storage, pixels, scripts and other methods that store information on, or access information from, your device. Applicable rules depend on what a technology does, not just its name.
Session cookies generally expire when a session ends. Persistent cookies remain for a defined period or until removed. First-party technologies are associated with the site you visit; third-party technologies may be associated with another provider.
An ordinary server log is not automatically a cookie. Where connection or security records contain personal information, our Privacy Policy still applies even if no device storage is used.
Our current setup is intended for general information, enquiry forms and email communication. We do not currently operate visitor analytics, advertising pixels or an AI chatbot on the website.
Hosting, security, form components and requested functionality may use storage or access technologies. The actual items, providers and lifetimes must be verified against the deployed website; a service description alone does not identify them.
The inventory in section 5 is the place to disclose verified items. It must be completed before this policy is published. An empty inventory must not be treated as proof that the website uses no cookies.
Strictly necessary or communication technologies may be used without cookie consent where they meet the relevant legal exception, for example to carry out a communication or provide a function you have specifically requested. A technology is not exempt merely because it is convenient for us.
Other purposes may benefit from a specific UK PECR exception only where all its conditions are met. Certain statistical or appearance-related uses can have conditions including clear information and a simple means of objecting. We will assess the actual purpose and configuration before relying on an exception.
Non-exempt technologies requiring consent will remain disabled until you actively choose to allow them. Consent must be freely given, informed, specific and clear. Continuing to browse, accepting general terms or using a pre-ticked choice is not sufficient.
If optional technologies are introduced, the choice interface will explain their purposes and allow acceptance, rejection and appropriate granular choices. Where consent is required, refusal must be a genuine choice and withdrawal must be straightforward.
The fact that a UK exception exists does not mean the same technology is exempt for every international visitor. We will take account of applicable local requirements.
Technical check on [DATE]: our deployed website was checked and no cookies or similar technologies that store information on, or access information from, your device were found in use. If this changes, each item will be listed here with its provider, purpose, lifetime and the choices available to you.
Where optional choices are offered, use the website’s cookie or privacy settings to review and change them. If no optional technologies are active, there may be no optional consent banner or settings panel to display.
You can also use your browser to inspect, block or delete cookies and other stored site data. Instructions vary by browser. Blocking an essential item may prevent the requested feature from working.
Deleting a cookie may not remove information already lawfully received by a provider. Personal data rights and retention are explained in our Privacy Policy.
Where we rely on an exception requiring an objection control, we will provide a simple, effective control and explain it alongside the relevant technology. Contact hello@devsbyte.com if you cannot find or use a stated control.
If preference storage is used, it will be listed in the inventory. Clearing browser data or using another browser or device may mean your choices need to be made again.
If you click a link to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn or another external service, that service operates under its own cookie and privacy arrangements.
A link to a platform does not by itself establish that its tracking technology runs on our website. Embedded widgets, video players, social plugins, anti-spam services or similar integrations must be assessed separately because they may access device information.
Before introducing a new integration, we will review its storage, data sharing and consent requirements, update the inventory and configure any required blocking or controls.
An optional checkbox for DevsByte promotional emails concerns email-marketing permission. It does not automatically give consent for website cookies or email tracking pixels.
Where a pixel or similar technology in an email stores or accesses device information, we will assess the applicable rules and use it only with valid consent or a genuinely applicable exception.
Marketing unsubscribe controls and cookie preferences serve different purposes. Unsubscribing stops promotional communications but does not necessarily delete browser storage. Removing browser cookies does not automatically unsubscribe you from email.
Some technologies may involve personal information such as online identifiers or device details. UK GDPR requirements apply to that personal information in addition to the relevant PECR rules.
Where providers process information outside the UK, applicable transfer safeguards and privacy disclosures are also required. Our Privacy Policy explains the approach and how to request information about relevant recipients and safeguards.
We will review this policy and the inventory when website technologies change. Where a new purpose requires consent, previous consent will not automatically cover it.
The latest version and last-updated date will be shown on the website. Contact hello@devsbyte.com with questions about cookies, controls or this policy.
